Mudcloth Consign is a black woman-owned business. Our goal is to provide an accessible and sustainable fashion outlet to women who love classic and elevated vintage looks.  We cater to those who love style and find thrifting to be therapeutic, financially responsible, and eco-friendly.  

The Mudcloth model works like this! We source our inventory of vintage and preloved pieces, throughout the United States, "upfit" and style them, making it easier for you to visualize the possibilities

 

Our goal:

Reintroduce an item whose potential has somehow gone unrecognized by styling it to fit our consumer’s personal styling needs. What goes around comes around. Styles and trends tend to emerge in cycles. Our Mom’s old vintage dress and Father’s old Wu-Tang t-shirts are now the preferred ensembles for young and more seasoned shoppers alike.

 

Thrifting is no longer taboo…in fact, popular culture and our need to protect our earth encourages it.

 

Mudcloth Consign has been in existence on paper since 2017. But has existed in my heart for much longer. I have held “style socials” pop-up shops, fashion shows and more recently, virtual-shop parties to share my gift of styling and my love for sustainable and authentic vintage for the past 13 years.

 

My dream is to create space where people can find rare pieces, consign hidden gems, and carry on the fun and responsibility of sustainable style through resale.
